Spring 2002 Report
Urban and Unrefined
- Bohemian Luxe
Geared at a younger, more fashion forward consumer, the season's strongest
statement has a casual attitude with a primitive edge. Looks are rough
and rugged in the spirit of a modern Davy Crockett. Silhouettes are
relaxed with a strong sportswear influence. Full-length furs are at
the core of this category in deconstructed cocoon shapes, kimonos and
wrap styles that envelop the body with undefined shoulders and accentuated
waists. Unfinished styles bring us back to nature with lynx, coyote,
fox, reversible shearling and a newly popular category of long hair
Toscana lamb taking center stage.
